If I were to do the capstone project again, I would explore more musical choices and choreographic inspirations. I would also like to have more dancers to have bigger group. If I knew that I was going to be performing in the final piece, I would change the movement to fit both Maideline and my capabilities. The dance program has taught me how to collaborate with other choreographers and dancers. I've made so many friends and learned many things such as quick learning, and quick reversals when given choreography. I have experienced so many wonderful things from the dance program, and it will carry on to my career and desires.
Future
My plan for the next coming years is to further my dance education by going to South Mountain Community College for two years and then ASU for the final two years. I have dreams of performing at Disneyland parades. When I was a kid I went to Disneyland and got to see the amazing parades where they were swung from a bar on a parade float, and I thought that would be cool to do something like that. I wish to be a background performer at concerts and shows because I think that would let me pursue my dancing career and also travel I would also like to be able to have my own company and teach dance. It is exciting and also scary to see where I end up in the future. Hopefully my dreams are come true.
